Log Book Acc.242/2/1 transferred by the Director of Education in April 1959, Admissions Register Acc.1510/3 deposited by the Headmaster in March 1969, log book SL6/2/2 and minute book SL6/1 transferred by District Education Officer in October 1983 Acc. 07323 and admissions register SL6/3/2 deposited by the Headteacher of Byley County Primary School in November 1984 acc. 08046. This school occupied a Unitarian chapel, which was built in 1689. The school was transferred to the County Council in 1910 and brought up to County Council requirements 1914 Directory. From 1910 it was known as Allostock Council School. It was closed in Aug. 1983
